Coins are rewards you spend in SwiftBuddy, worth ₦0.10 each. They aren’t company shares, cash or an investment, and can’t be withdrawn. They expire after 12 months with no transactions at all. Your first bill earns 50 coins to start.

What does “earn your share” mean?
When you pay a bill on SwiftBuddy, our partners pay us a small margin. We give a share of that margin back to you as SwiftBuddy Coins, so every bill you pay grows your share. The more you transact, the more coins you earn.
Am I buying shares in SwiftBuddy?
No. Coins are rewards you spend in SwiftBuddy, worth ₦0.10 each. They aren't company shares, cash or an investment, they don't pay dividends, and they can't be withdrawn or sold.
How many coins do I earn?
It depends on the bill and your tier. As a guide, Bronze earns 7, Silver earns 8, Gold earns 9, Platinum earns 11 coins for every ₦1,000 of bills. Each bill shows its own coins in the app before you pay.
How do I spend my coins?
Once you have 500 coins, choose to pay with coins at checkout on your next bill. You can also send coins to a buddy for their next bill.
How do I move up a tier?
Tiers follow your points, which come from everything you do in SwiftBuddy: paying bills, topping up, verifying your account and inviting friends. Silver starts at 500 points, Gold starts at 2,000 points, Platinum starts at 5,000 points.
What is the weekly streak?
Pay at least one bill each week to keep your streak going. You collect bonus coins at 4 weeks (200), 8 weeks (300), 12 weeks (500), 26 weeks (1,000), 52 weeks (2,500). If you miss a week, a streak freeze covers it once a month.
Do coins expire?
Only if your account has no transactions at all for 12 months. Pay any bill and your coins stay.
Can the numbers change?
Yes. We may change how many coins a bill earns, the tiers and the bonuses. The app always shows the current numbers, and this page follows them.
