How fast do I get paid?
Once your card checks out, the money goes straight into your SwiftBuddy wallet. Each trade shows its status in the app from start to finish, and you can send it to your bank or spend it on bills right away.

The cards and countries listed on this page, at the rates shown. Rates change during the day with the market; the rate shown when you submit is the one you get, as long as the card's value matches.
Why do I need to verify my BVN?
Gift cards are a favourite of scammers, so we only buy cards from verified customers and pay only into their own wallet. It protects you and everyone who trades on SwiftBuddy.
What if my card is worth less than I said?
We pay what the card is really worth at the rate you were quoted, and tell you why. If it's already been used or can't be verified, we tell you that too, and nothing is paid.

What is an instant payout?
Sellers with a clean track record on SwiftBuddy are paid in seconds for cards marked ⚡, within daily limits. Everyone else is checked by our team first. If a card paid instantly turns out to have been used, the payment is reversed.
Will SwiftBuddy ever ask for my card code by phone, WhatsApp or DM?
Never. You only ever enter a code inside the SwiftBuddy app, on the sell screen. Anyone who asks for a code anywhere else is not SwiftBuddy.
Can I get told when a rate goes up?
Yes. Set a rate alert in the app for any card and we'll send you a notification the moment the rate reaches your number.
SwiftBuddy only buys gift cards from verified customers and never asks you to buy a card to pay someone. If anyone asks you to pay a fee, a fine or a "release charge" in gift cards, it's a scam: stop and report it to support@swiftbuddy.africa.
